Primer Coating

Our Primer Coat offers a robust foundation for insulated mugs.

Packaging Conditions Packaging can proceed once the material has cooled down.
Physical Testing Conditions Standard testing conditions: 150℃ for 20 minutes. Once the material and coating have cooled down after being left at room temperature for 1-2 hours, physical property tests can be conducted.
Simulated environment test conditions: 150°C for 20 minutes, followed by letting it stand at room temperature for 24 hours before proceeding with the simulated environment test.

Physical Properties Test: Thermal insulation cup coating

Test Items Test Conditions Test Results
1   Adhesion The sample is placed flat and scored both horizontally and vertically using a 100-grid knife. After cleaning the scored section, 3M#610 tape is applied over the grid. The tape is then pulled off at a 45° angle three times, resulting in a 5B adhesion rating. 5B
2   Hardness Lay the test panel flat. Using the Mitsubishi Pencil Hardness Tester at a 500g load, the coating should exhibit a scratch-free surface with a hardness rating between H-2H. No scratches
3 Film Thickness Determined by film thickness gauge to be 15-20um (single coat) 15-20um
4 Impact Test Preconditioning: Test specimens must be conditioned at -10℃ for a duration exceeding 1 hour.
Test Parameters: Three test points, using parameters: φ1/2×500g×30cm.
No cracking.
No peeling.
6 Water Resistance Immersed in pure water at 75±5℃for 1 hours. After a 1-hour standing period post-immersion, the coating remains free from significant softening, discoloration, bubbling, or reduced adhesion. Appearance unchanged; 5B adhesion.
7 Dishwasher Durability Test Procedure: Test samples are subjected to a full cycle in an automatic dishwasher with detergent and drying. Alternatively, the dishwasher door is opened for 5 minutes and this action is repeated 60 times Performance Expectation: The coating should be free of delamination, bubbling, discoloration, scratches, stains, cracking, or peeling. No cracking.

8 Solvent Resistance Applying a 1.2kg load, the coated surface is swiped with a cloth saturated in alcohol (concentration > 80%). For red variants of the coating, a test with 1:1 water dilution is conducted, ensuring no color transfer to the cloth. No color transfer
