Specially developed, this primer is tailored for various wheel metal substrates. It boasts superior  

adhesion and retains its exceptional qualities during the high-temperature baking, ensuring a uniform

Our ROHS-certified high-temperature water-based paint exhibits unparalleled stability during the baking

Packaging Conditions

Packaging can proceed once the material has cooled down.

Physical Testing Conditions

1.     Standard testing conditions: 150 for 20 minutes. Once the material and coating have cooled down after being left at room temperature for 1-2 hours, physical property tests can be conducted.

 

2.     Simulated environment test conditions: 150°C for 20 minutes, followed by letting it stand at room temperature for 24 hours before proceeding with the simulated environment test.

Aluminum wheel rims/various powder primers.

Adhesion

The sample is placed flat and scored both horizontally and vertically using a 100-grid knife. After cleaning the scored section, 3M#610 tape is applied over the grid. The tape is then pulled off at a 45° angle three times, resulting in a 5B adhesion rating.

Hardness

Lay the test panel flat. Using the Mitsubishi Pencil Hardness Tester at a 500g load, the coating should exhibit a scratch-free surface with a hardness rating between H-2H.

High-Pressure Hand Gun Test

Using an 80-100bar water jet, spray the grid-scratched coated film from a distance of 2-3cm for 3-4 minutes.

The coated film surface 100% remains intact

QUV Resistance

The clear coat undergoes a QUV test for 250 hours and other topcoats for more than 200 hours, with no fading. The gloss reduction is below 25%, excluding dyed paints.

Water Resistance

Immersed in pure water at 40±2 for 240 hours. After a 1-hour standing period post-immersion, the coating remains free from significant softening, discoloration, bubbling, or reduced adhesion.

Corrosion Resistance

Tested at 35 with 95% humidity using a 5% NaCl solution spray, the product showed no rust or discoloration on its surface after 720 hours in the salt spray environment.

Acid Resistance

Upon immersion in 10% H2SO4 at 20±2 for 24 hours, the coating remains unaffected, with no noticeable softening, discoloration, bubbling, or decreased adhesion.

Alkali Resistance

Upon immersion in 10% NaOH at 20±2 for 24 hours, the coating remains unaffected, with no noticeable softening, discoloration, bubbling, or decreased adhesion.

Humidity Resistance Test

For the clear coat, after testing at 65 and 90% humidity for 24 hours, all properties remain unchanged.

Thermal Cycling Resistance

The test cycles through temperatures of -40 for 1.5 hours, then 25 for 0.5 hours, followed by 65 at 90% RH for 1.5 hours, and this sequence is repeated for a total of 20 cycles.

Oil Resistance

The coated film was immersed in automotive engine lubricating oil at 0±2 for 1 hour. After a 1-hour cleaning, there were no notable signs of softening, discoloration, bubbling, or reduced adhesion.

Gasoline Resistance

Submerged in 90# gasoline at 20±2 for 1 hour. After rinsing for another hour, the coated film exhibits no noticeable softening, discoloration, bubbling, or reduced adhesion.

Sandblast Test

The stone chip resistance test was performed using the GM4348M machine. When the resistance rating is compared against images from Figure 1 through Figure 7, the expectation is a rating greater than 3.
